Delacey is the Nutritional Services Manager and Registered Dietitian at Mountains Community Hospital. Everyone should have basic understanding of nutrition. It is one of the most important aspects of our health and wellness. \nTopic – Strong Diet for a Strong Body and Mind. \nThe secrets out! Age is changing our bodies and the outcome may not be as desirable as we’d like. So what \nour minds? How do we maintain our sharp\, witty\, clever selves? Delve into the nutritional science of aging with grace and strength. \nSamantha Patterson – Music and Movement Therapist \nBio – Samantha holds a Master’s degree in Music and Movement Therapy and a Sports Movement degree and has worked for many YMCA locations\, retiring in 2015. Each YMCA involved extensive training in particular elements of fitness and well-being\, such as yoga\, Pilates\, aerobics\, weight training and Healthy Back programs. The Riverside YMCA afforded an opportunity to collaborate with the Arthritis Foundation in programs such as Chair Aerobics\, Water Tai Chi and Chair Yoga. DESCRIPTION:The Market at Lake Gregory is a family friendly Community Market that hopes to bring people and business together in the best way possible – with shopping\, food\, and live music! \nThe market will open Friday\, May 3rd\, and will remain open through September 27\, 2024. The hours of operation are Fridays from 4pm-8pm. \nWe will spend the 1st month of the market on the North Shore with the market taking place in the parking lot\, and the band and bar up on the deck.  When the beach opens for the season in June\, we will relocate the market to the South Shore for the duration of the season.   \nHere’s what you have to look forward to:\n-Upwards of 30+ vendors\n-Pet Friendly\n-Live Music!\n-Beer and wine available for purchase (must be 21+)\n-Breathtaking sunsets at Lake Gregory all summer long\n-Free parking for vendors + patrons

DESCRIPTION:Crestline – March 23\, 2024 – A fresh new fundraising event has been added to the calendar this year – SPRING FLING! SPRING FLING will take place on Saturday\, April 27 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Leisure Shores on the Lake. Unlike GRILLIN’AND CHILLIN’ in June and STUFF YOUR SPUD in October which are both for all ages\, SPRING FLING is for grown-ups only (21 and over). The festivities include dancing\, raffles\, games of chance\, a silent auction\, trivia\, magic\, and a talent contest with a $100 prize. This Spring we are throwing back to the 50’s\, 60’s\, 70’s\, and 80’s\, so wear your saddle shoes or love beads if you like! Tickets are only $20 and include appetizers and dessert; beer and wine will be available for purchase in “The Pub”. To sign up for the talent contest\, email Activities@thinmail.net. You can also sign up at the event (if there is still room). \nTickets can be purchased at Leisure Shores starting April 1st\, or at the Senior Nutrition Lunches each Tues. and Thursday at noon at the San Moritz Lodge. Don’t miss it! Proceeds benefit the Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club\, improving the lives of seniors in the mountain communities since 1959. And speaking of Senior Nutrition Lunches\, they are open to everyone aged 60+. You do not need to be a member to attend. Lunches are free; a $3 suggested contribution is appreciated to help pay for things not covered by their funding
