DESCRIPTION:More about the Run…\nThe Run Through the Pines is a destination run and a San Bernardino\, Rim Mountain Community Event . It is one of the longest “running” runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979). It features an “OPEN COURSE” 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and through a pine tree forest.  Runners (and walkers) can enjoy a semi-paved open course at a 4\,720 foot elevation\, which makes it a perfect little challenge for mountain locals and especially our friends from down the hill. \nRace day staging is at the San Moritz Lodge “Meadow” area near the Lake Gregory Company bait and tackle shop. We encourage participants of all levels\, children in strollers\, pets on a leash\, and especially teams/groups. \nLake Gregory is located in Crestline\, a charming little town filled with one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants. We encourage all runners to stay the weekend and enjoy the town. \nQuestions?
