To celebrate the legacy of jazz through the creative production of performances and educational programs that expand the boundaries and opportunities to experience jazz.

The Blue Jay Jazz Foundation’s vision is to enhance the community through the presentation of world-class jazz entertainment and by providing youth residing in the Lake Arrowhead Communities with instruments and year-round jazz education programs that encourage creative thought, self-confidence, and innovative communication.

To financially, physically, logically, or otherwise assist bands and their members, volunteers, and their directors with the musical activities of the bands; to engage in fund-raising activities to help achieve such purpose; to otherwise provide music education and support services consistent with 501 c (3) Internal Revenue Code.

Our vision is to establish Crestline as a growing art colony and a destination where visitors don’t just observe art, but experience and participate in it.

Through immersive and engaging events such as plein air art derbies, live performances, art demonstrations, and themed festivals, we invite the public to become part of the creative process. Signature experiences include historical and imaginative dress-up events such as Dickens Faire, Renaissance Faire, and “Travel Through Time” gatherings featuring Victorian, steampunk, country, and modern themes.

These events encourage community participation, attract visitors, and create a unique cultural identity that keeps Crestline active, connected, and thriving.

Community collaboration is the foundation of everything we do. By working together—artists, businesses, and residents—we are building a sustainable and inspiring arts destination in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Upcoming initiatives include monthly plein air art derbies leading up to a large-scale competition in August, as well as expanded seasonal events building on the success of past collaborations like the Dickens Faire during the Chamber’s Holiday in the Pines.

Crestline Arts District is more than an organization—it’s a movement to bring art, community, and commerce together in a way that keeps our town alive and flourishing.
